In my new series I’ve created subtle artworks that are a visually engaging balance of geometric shapes and colors. I consider my works to be organic in nature. Often I will lace a dominant color or shape in the piece knowing that the challenge is to engage and counter it successfully within the overall landscape.

I primarily paint in acrylics, but treat them like watercolors. The shimmering colored areas are layered, transparent and accentuated by ink lines. This process produces artworks with unmistakable lightness and softness.
